Practical Evaluation Adidas ACE 17 + Purecontrol Series Soccer Cleats
Strictly speaking, ACE 17+ Purecontrol is a product released in 2016, but it is clearly Adidas' move in the next year. Purecontrol is the embodiment of the Adidas revolution. If the shoe-less system and the knitted shoes are not innovative enough to face the traditional soccer shoe giants, what is the revolution?
ACE 17+ Purecontrol is easy to win the 2016 Best Concept Sneakers award and has the practicality to complement each other. The original version is great, but you can see that the shoe store lacks a sufficient sense of lock under the violent action, and for a pair of shoes that cannot be customized, the shoe last is difficult to fit the foot. If Adi can improve these issues on the next 16+ release, we will at least hear the ACE 17+ release at the end of the previous year.
The new version of the collar is a bit taller than the 16+ and looks like a stand-alone unit, rather than a full-length knit upper as before. The soles are still marked with chrome-plated wear warnings, but the obvious Boost mid-ridges are exciting. We certainly like the actual work of this technology, but in fact, this cool look makes us look happy. The sole is still a FG/AG system made up of tapered studs, but looks more rounded than the previous generation. The shoe frame is not obvious. From the appearance, only the NSG spots are shining in the back of the shoe.
One of the big mistakes of the previous Purecontrol is that the shoes will be deformed with the upper legs, but the shape will not change. The new generation doesn't look as soft as it used to be, so we will definitely consider whether it has a new technology that will affect comfort. With the lacing-free system, is the adaptability, durability and shape retention improved?
The first feeling of putting on shoes is that the feeling of wrapping is strong. The shoe compartment is equipped with an axial sleeve that locks the sole without the shoelaces, just like the previous tongue. This sleeve system is constructed of a soft material that keeps the foot locked under unstressed conditions. This is an innovation made by Adi from PrimeKnit 2.0.
Purecontrol does have a warm shoe. The outsole started to be a bit hard, and the upper gradually softened as the use began. Once the outsole of the shoe and the middle section of the shoe are open, it will provide enough elasticity and good comfort. Maybe the outside of the instep will look a bit harder, but that's the extra locking effect Adi has on the body with a three-bar structure.
The front and middle ends of the upper are connected by a similar Pure series of car-line structures, and the initial resilience is not good but slowly softened. The structure of the heel is not the same as that of PrimeKnit, providing the same locking feel while wearing and taking off the shoes. PureCut's collar won't squeeze your ankles, we love it.
The best thing about Purecontrol is its great adaptability. When there is no shoelace, if you do not choose the shoe size, the shoes are absolutely difficult to fit. The upper will soften, but don't think that the shoes can grow. There is no pair of shoes like CE 17+ Purecontrol that must go to the actual foot test. The shoes are very positive, but they are not friendly to the feet. This outsole has been proven and the studs are perfect and will surely become a classic.
The ACE 17+ Purecontrol is designed for the midfielder's core, and the lace-free system is just a plus item. If Adidas gives such shoes a good sense of feel while providing a good sense of wrapping, we must make a loud applause.
In addition to the position of the sleeve, the upper is quite thin. There is no way to touch the ball from which part, and the feeling of transmission to the foot is true. Even if the sleeve ends at the front mid-line position, there is no sudden sensation. The fine grooves in the line position have no effect on the ball. The touch before the pass made us fall in love with the shoes, and the touch and response before and after the pass were impeccable.
Since the upper is thinner than we thought, the volley feels cool. The feeling of shooting is clean and neat, and the feedback is full. If you often need a long pass, there is no such a pair of thick and moderate shoes, it must be scruples. This generation of uppers is similar to the ACE tradition, with bare feet and perfect protection.
The configuration of the outsole is the same as the other, and it is a conical stud on the FG/AG outsole. Of course, this is not the point. Everyone is concerned about BOOST. BOOST is known for its comfort and smoothness, but there seems to be no other new features. As comfortable as the legend, but not so obvious, perhaps only in the extreme hard ground will have better performance.
Adidas continues to plow in Purecontrol, so although he dare not say that it is the best shoeless soccer cleats ever, but hope that one day this series can get such praise. After all, it's a step up to Purecontrol. The wave of no shoelaces is coming, let's plunge into it!
